2010 FALL CONFERENCE, BOARD MEETING

and CRAFT SHOW

Mailbox: There will be District Mailboxes available at this conference for Club Presidents, District Chairmen, and Club Deans. The mailbox for District Chairmen and Club Deans will contain information from our District Dean, Sarabel Yahne.  Clubs with fliers about future activities or other information to share can bring 40 copies and give them to the Mailbox Chairman BEFORE THE MEETING BEGINS.

Motions: If you wish to present a motion, please notify the Recording Secretary, Janet Tinkam, and bring three (3) copies of the motion.

Nominations for District Officers:  Applications for nomination for 2010-2012 District offices are due to the nominating committee by January 1, 2010. Members wishing to serve on the District Executive Committee should refer to the Bylaws Article IX, Section 2., eligibility,  for instructions for completing an application. The duties of each office are also described in the Bylaws in Article IV, Officers and Duties. Names and addresses of the Nominating Committee are as follows.

Meal Reservations: Each club should mail the Reservation Form that is attached to the CALL to :Claire Kidd, 12740 Garden Ave., Grand Terrace, CA 92313
Cost of meal $9.00, cost of registration $2.00, total cost $11.00.      Reservations must be postmarked no later than October __, 2010.

Sign In Sheets: will be at the registration table in the clubhouse foyer. Be sure to sign in as this is our official list used by the recording secretary to record attendance. Note: District and State officers and chairmen, dub officers and members make reservations through their club or through the WeBeenThere Club.

Club Membership Chairmen: Our District Membership Chairman, Sara Yahne, will continue recognizing first time attendees. Each first time attendee will be given a small token of recognition. It is most important that you let Sara know how many first time attendees you will be bringing. We want to have enough recognition items. Her phone number is (909) 982-0160

Federation Fair: Clubs may rent table space at this conference for your Ways and Means. Send check for five dollars ($5.00) made payable to CFWC San Bernardino District to Peggy Boyd, 9800 Baseline Rd., Sp. #19, Alta Loma, CA 91701,  Phone:(909) 989-4116.
