2008-2010  REPORT  WRITING GUIDELINES for District Chairmen

SIZE CATEGORIES FOR JUDGING:

CLUB

Small: 1-30 members

Medium: 31-60 members

Intermediate: 61-100 members

Large: 101 members and over

The report forms may be found in the GFWC Club Manual under GFWC Reporting Guidelines for 2008-2010 section, mailed to each club.  Copies were distributed at the Dean's Report Writing workshop at the Woman's Club of Rialto in September of 2009.

 

  • District Chairmen will pick up their department's reports at the Rialto Woman's Club on January 23 between 10 a.m. and noon.
  • Reports must be read and judged prior to February 15th 

  • Judges should not be affiliated with the women's clubs.

 

Membership Only:

  • Use the report form in the GFWC Club Manual. For the number of members as of January 1, use the number listed in the CFWC Procedure/Yearbook.

  • POST MARKED NO LATER THAN JANUARY 13, 2009.

 

Departmental Reports:

  • Each report shall include, on a GFWC Report Form, District information filled in pertaining to the individual department.

  • Include a narrative report, no more than two (2) pages long, single spaced, summarizing the activities of the clubs and the District for each department.

  • Send the narrative summary and one entire set of all club reports with the winner in each size category clearly marked, to the appropriate State Chairman.

  • Refer to CFWC Procedure/Yearbook for addresses.

  • Submission must be postmarked by February 15th.

  • Send a list of the winners in each category along with two (2) copies of the winning reports to District Dean, Virginia Mayer-Oakes, 6049 Magnolia, Rialto, CA 92377.

 

Awards:

  • CFWC will present awards to one club and one district in each size category base on the State Chairman’s judging results.

  • Information on other CFWC awards may be found on specific procedure pages in the CFWC Procedure/Yearbook.
