Theme:     "Come to the Federation Fair" 

Place:        Etiwanda Gardens,  7576 Etiwanda Avene Rancho Cucamonga, CA 91739

Time:        8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.

                          Buffet Breakfast, Booth assembly, and Registration 8:00 a.m. to 9:00 a.m.

                          Convention begins at 9:00 a.m.

 

Guest Speaker:  Kathi McGraw, CFWC President

 

Goals:      To honor club activities throughout the club year (awards)

                   To share club activites with imaginative Midway Booths

                  To elect and install officers for the 2012-14 administration

                  To honor members who have passed away

                  To give to the Salvation Army's family shelter in San Bernardino

                  To have fun.

We are asking the clubs to please bring a decorated basket of sundries to the Convention. We will use them to
decorate the tables at the luncheon and will give them to the Salvation Army for distribution to people
who are living at the Salvation Army facility for homeless families. Since they will be used as center
pieces they should probably not be larger than ten inches in diameter and eighteen inches high.

Philanthropic Project for individual members:  Donations of new undergarments for adults and children.

CLUB PRESIDENTS: Please bring your written report to the Convention. They will be published on the District website where they will be available for all to share. (No, you will not have to give a three minute oral report.)

RESERVATIONS: Be sure to indicate on the reservation form the position your club members represent (i.e. delegate, first time attendees, etc.).  This is important because only delegates/members of the Executive Board are eligible to vote.  The Credentials Chairman, Wendy Jarvis, will be making name tags with the correct designation for all of us.

SIGN IN SHEETS will be at the will be at the registration table in the lobby. Be sure to sign in, as this is our official list used by the Recording Secretary to record attendance and our Credentials Chairman to verify voting eligibility. NOTE: District and State Officers and chairmen, Club Officers and Members, make your reservations through your clubs. Past District Presidents may send their reservations through their home club or through the WeBeenThere Club.

MOTIONS:
If you wish to present a motion, please contact the Recording Secretary, Gene Drake at 909-873-9736 before the convention and bring her three copies of the motion at the time of the meeeting.

TABLE RENTALS:
Clubs may rent table space for your Ways and Means by sending a check for five dollars ($5) made payable to CFWC/San Bernardino District to: Claire Kidd, Financial Secretary, 12740 Garden Ave, Grand Terrace, CA 92313.
